3 Days to Taiwan
Have gotten news on the non-technical side of the project just few hrs ago. Partnership lots for Taichung is expected to run out by Feb '07. For anyone who wishes to have more dividends before the chance is gone, PLEASE ACT FAST!!!
Of course, new things will be launched as well. Very soon Sunshine Empire's website shall have variations in accordance to various countries, e.g. Singaporean, Malaysian, Indonesian and Hong Kong versions. With the debit card and sms notification systems slowly falling in place, the path and future directions seem bright for anyone who is willing to give this new age business a shot.
As I face the future with certainty, I do feel a need to remind myself constantly against complacency. David and Guanxiang have proven themselves by opening the very first international markets, and I'm still lagging behind them. But I'm sure that will not be for long. I'll definitely make my mark not only locally, but in Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong as well. Do wait for my good news!

My Laptop is BACK!!!!
Shall start with some updates (which are kinda outdated since its been 2 weeks) of the Genting Leaders' Convention.
Sunshine Empire Main Entrance
Grand Corridor of Sunshine Empire
Mini Theatre with surround sound system
Empire Property Venture
The progress of Sunshine left me in awe as usual. Just barely a year ago, we were absolutely nothing and barely making ends meet, and now, we are venturing into finance, property, IT, training and e-shopping. Even I myself found it rather hard to believe at first. This is really the very first time I felt so close to being from nothing to something; from nobody to somebody; from rags to riches, all just by making use of this wonderful platform.
Of course, I really have my team to thank during this process for their trust and support, and the help that was given even when times are down and future seems bleak. I really appreciate you guys. This career is not mine, but ours. We'll make it a success not as individuals, but as a team, each and every one of us!

Profit Sharing for Nov!!!
Felt really ironic.
Alot of people around me are readily put a 30k excluding hidden costs into tertiary education, mug hard for 3-4 years to obtian a degree, and settle for a 2k/mth job. But yet, for the same or even less than the amt of money, no additional time commitments and with immediate effect, I'm getting more than 3k/mth. And that's not even close to the maximum potential of the project!
All thanks to "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki that allowed me to have a new dimension of finances, as well as to grab opprtunities that come by. Else I would have been like any normal student who are mugging, clubbing, living in their own world and enjoying life, taking up part-time jobs to barely meet their financial output, or even still collecting allowance from parents after the age of 18!!
10 days to KL for my next business trip, 2 weeks to Christmas and 3 weeks to 2007. Only managed to fulfil one of the 3 goals that I set for myself 344 days ago. Time to buck up and set my sights on 2007!

Wireless@SG
Felt really disappointed when I read all recent news about the Wireless@SG launch. Slow connection and limited access due to bandwidth limitations are major prob with the whole system. It really brought back memories of how the project first came out, and how close we were to having a chance to change the whole telecommunications industry of Singapore. Things could have been real different as compared to now!
Using the wireless connection in Taichung and Singapore are different experiences altogether. Imagine this technology appearing in Singapore. What a differences it would have made to all users! And it's real high speed!
Comparion of internet connection speed, courtesy of numion.com
The bottom test was done when I was in Taichung on a moving bus in Oct, while the one on top was done at home back in Singapore using a 4000kbps service. See the diff?
Well at least for now the services are free, which more or less makes up for the quality (or lack of it). Hopefully all these problems will be resolved by the time they end their free services.

A Fruitful Taiwan Trip
Now Ben can even watch Hard Gay while eating at a roadside ramen stall in Tai Chung!!
Travis testing out the wireless network in a moving coach along Feng Jia St.
People who made the Wireless Broadband Dream possible. Sitting from left to right: Mr Derrick Lee (Chief Operating Officer, EmCom Singapore), Mr Wu Shen Xing (Chief Executive Officer, EmCom Taiwan), Mr Gino (Chief Technical Officer, Tayee Technologies), Mr Eddie Chong (Chief Executive Officer, Tayee Technologies)
And of course... the best thing abt Taiwan... hehe...
It really excites me to see the project progress each day, not coz I'll get huge dividends out of the subscription fees, but most importantly the feeling of playing a role in a telecommunication revolution that might well change the world.
Can't believe I took 1 whole hr just to complete this entry!! And I still dunno how to put a picture at my profile!! Can some expert blogger help???
1st Blog!!!!
Perhaps having a blog was the last ever thing that I thought I might have done, largely due to my powderful england that consists of countless grammatical errors and extremely limited vocabulary.
Nevertheless, shall start blogging from this day even though I might have been lagging for years as compared to my friends.. coz I will soon be en route the turning point of my life, to turn from nobody to somebody, and from rags to riches!
This blog shall mark my footsteps along this journey as I leave a legacy behind.
